TSATLEE SILK

Rough and irregular raw silk native reeled in Northern China. It is a household made yarn. It is so faulty that it is usually re-reeled to remove the imperfections when the yarn is then termed " re-reels." The name is said to mean " seven threads " and this is the number of cocoons used for each thread.
